What is the best ventless gaslogs?

I’m puttting a ventless gas (propane) fireplace in my home an really confused on what brand of gas logs to purchase, can somebody help me out here. please?

I would like to make a suggestion…Don’t use ventless logsets at all! Get a direct vent fireplace instead.

There is a very good reason that ventless logsets are illegal in ALL of Canada, many states and many other countries. They are not safe. They put products of combustion into the air you are breathing. Yes they have oxygen sensors and co sensors wired into them, but that is not good enough in my professional opinion.

A direct vent fireplace draws in air from outside burns it with the fuel and puts the products of combustion back outside. There is no communication of the air you are breathing with the combustion process. The heat is put into the home using a heat exchanger. You can even put an accessory fan on there to circulate the heated air.

If you haven’t bought anything yet, I strongly urge you to at least look at the direct vent units before you buy anything. They are much, much safer!
