How do you light ventless fire place without electricity?

I lost the manual, my setup includes a spring loaded black nob which i turn counter clockwise after i hear the his of gas I push the igniter several occasions and also the pilot occurs. I understand i`m release a the nob and also the primary burners should light or does the primary burners light prior to the nob is launched? can anybody let me know the right order this will happen. after i release the nob the pilot is out.

On my small unit, you need to turn the knob towards the pilot position and it depressed. It sometimes requires a while prior to the air will get from the line and also the gas will get there, and so i just hit the igniter button periodically. Once it ignites, keep your button depressed for many seconds after which let from the knob. Whether it stays lit you’ll be able to turn the knob towards the on position.
